Prize Money

Going fast can be fun too!  

For some skiers reaching the finishing line is a victory.  For others part of the joy is the competition or setting a personal best.  For the podium chasers, we have $3,000 to be divided equally between men and women on each race day, for a total purse of $6,000.  

Prize money is awarded for the 40km course on both days for both genders and is as follows:

• $500 for 1st

• $400 for 2nd

• $300 for 3rd

• $200 for 4th

• $100 for 5th

• 6th, 7th and 8th receive a free entry into one event in the following year
